Cleoda White Desk with Black Trapezium Legs – Rustic Herringbone Desk made with a mix of new and reclaimed wood handmade and designed by us.

DESK TOP FINISH

This desk comes with black wooden legs and a unique blend of new and reclaimed wood, ensuring both style and sustainability.
The surface is sanded to a smooth finish, preserving marks and imperfections that add character to the reclaimed wood. It comes standard with a satin varnish finish. We use locally sourced reclaimed wood, new and used wood planks, OSB board, screws, nails, glue, stain, wax, and varnish.

COLOUR TONES – White wash

The desk pictured is stained in white wash and finished with satin varnish, offering a semi-gloss look.

If you prefer a different stain colour, please let us know. We can match the stain to your existing décor. Note that the reclaimed wood may result in slight colour variations from the photos.

NOTE- Please consider that the colour might look different depending on the reclaimed wood used on the table, they will always have a slight difference in tones comparing to the photos.

IMPERFECTION

Please consider that off all imperfections, such as bumps, saw marks, hammer marks, marks of paint, etc. are not considered defects, as this is the character of the product that comes with using reclaimed wood.

Materials used – reclaimed wood planks, osb board, screws, nails, glue, stain and varnish all locally sourced. By using repurposed old wood each dining table has its own character and feel, and would never look the same as another table.

WOOD MOVEMENT

All wood is organic and hygroscopic, meaning that when exposed to air, it will release or pick up moisture until it reaches equilibrium with the humidity in the air. Because of this all wood will expand as it gains moisture and will shrink when it loses moisture. Wood also does not shrink or swell equally in all directions.

PRODUCT CARE RECOMMANDATIONS

We recommend to avoid keeping the table or bench too close or in direct contact with the radiator or any source of heating. This is real wood, and it will be affected by big differences of temperature. Also to be avoided humid conditions as it will make the wood expand.

DELIVERY

All tables and desks are safely flat packed and have the screws included for the legs and other assembly if necessary . Our tables and desks come with the legs detached and will need a 5 min assembly, it is recommended an electric screwdriver but will work with a standard-sized cross-head screwdriver as well.
Legs will arrive in a separate package.
